1.

A Cadet Officer who has received permission to

Qudy for the Bar, may be given an advance of the amount of the entrance

fees etc., at one of the Inns of Court; such advance will be recovered on

return of the officer from leave by instalments fixed by the Governor

not exceeding one-third of his monthly salary.

2.

A Cadet Officer who has received permission to

study for the Bar will be eligible to receive a bonus of £25 in respect

of each part of the Bar Examination in which he may obtain a First Class

and a bonus of £50 if he obtains a First Class in the final examination.

3.

Any Cadet Officer receiving such bonus will be

required to sign an undertaking to refund it in the event of his voluntari-

-ly quitting the Government Service within five years from the date of its

receipt.
